All Overear kittens are born and raised in the home and are well socialised with a variety of other animals, people and general house noise.

Kittens are ready to leave from 16 weeks old.

They will be:

· Registered with TICA
· Micro-chipped
· Fully vaccinated
· Wormed
· Flea treated
· Kittens will also come with a kitten pack and four weeks free insurance.

American Curls may only be bred with other Curls and domestic longhair and shorthair cats that closely fit the standard (apart from ear curl). Because all Curls are descended from one cat out-crossing is an extremely important part of the breed programme, not only allowing the gene pool to grow but by increasing genetic diversity and health.

Curls are born with straight ears and they start to curl back between two and ten days of age. Initially the ears will curl and uncurl and should be permanently set at 4 months. This is the time when breeders can determine what quality the kitten is. As well as overall body and head type the ear curl is the key factor in determining a show quality kitten. First degree curl – pet quality, Second degree curl – breeder quality and Third degree curl – show quality.
