LELAURIER

I have been involved with British since 2000 courtesy of Dee Marsland-Round of Catbalu. I eventually had my first litter of British in 2002. They are an adorable breed with gorgeous round faces and big chunky bodies, they are sturdy and robust and are ideal house cats. The British Shorthair and Longhair can come in all colours and most patterns, from the traditional Blue self, to the newest colours of Cinnamon and Fawn.

2012 will hopefully see our first British Longhair litter! I have waited patiently for my first Longhair girl and we have now been joined by an equally gorgeous boy.

Here at Lelaurier I am specialising in Cinnamon and Fawn Selfs, Torties, Tabbies and Bicolours but will produce Chocolate and Lilac as well.

Health and temperament are key considerations in my programme as most kittens will be placed in loving pet homes. Type is obviously an important factor especially with the Cinnamon and Fawn cats along with eye colour, coat colour and coat texture.

I have shown my cats with great success over the years in GCCF and TICA but will now be concentrating my efforts solely on TICA, I prefer the style of showing, increased level of competition and quality of judging.
